OK Friends & Onlookers.

We have suffered a very emotional loss this Month. Our Beloved Boxer, Olexa was diagnosed with Mast Cell tumors in early January 2018. By Valentine's day she had stopped eating & we chose to set her Spirit free on the first of March 2018. We were planning to do some experiments late last year & didn't follow through on those.

As we continue to heal emotionally, mentally & recover from this amazingly difficult loss, There WILL be IPA brewed for Olexa (her Favorite) and our locally famous Green Chili Beer. And even if it kills me, I will be attempting a Chocolate Peanut Butter Porter and a Peanut Butter & Jelly Beer.

Last year at this time, Cinnamon's 1998 Durango decided it was a no-go. Then we were a 1 income household Jan til May/June. This year my Jeep has run 250K miles, getting new cooling fan this week, complete rear brake w/all new parts & a new vacuum booster last week. Front flat yesterday. We are spending Thanksgiving in Missouri this year.
Needless to say, Our LOVE of brewing has not wavered, Our time & re$ource$ have had to take the Responsible Route. Leaving Our cellar with some shelf bombs (zero detonated!) and dusty equipment.
We are hopeful to resume the experimental aspects of this hobby we chose in the very near future.
We have tried more than 200 new beers this year, we are CandSBrewers on Untappd.

Good Morning Friends, The holiday has passed, now its time to FOCUS on experimentation. We will be working toward a months end brew date for a 1 gallon "Brookside PBJ" We haven't chosen the jelly yet...

2017 will allow us to work on Oxidization, a recurring problem we're having with our home brew. Too much Oxygen introduction after yeast pitch.
