We're thrilled to invite you to our inaugural opening day on Thursday, marking a new chapter for our food truck, now proudly named The Frontier Grill.

Inspired by the vast open spaces and majestic mountains of the Old West, where I grew up in Texas and spent most of my life in Colorado, this name embodies our venture's spirit in Cañon City.

Good morning,

This is my first post as the new owner of Smashed and Stacked. I would first like to thank everyone who’s reached out so far about events and if I’m keeping the food the same. I am 100% going to keep this truck the same, outside of having to change the name and adding a few things here and there.

I spent the first 10 years of my adult life in restaurants before I started roofing in Texas. Me and my wife moved to Cañon City a couple years ago to be close to our family. We have spent the last 10 years traveling the world and I hope to bring some of the wonderful food we have tried to this truck along with the wonderful smash burgers you have grown to love.

This should be the last week until we are open. There are a few things left to do as far as adding equipment and making sure the truck and business are ready before we officially open. We look forward to being as big a part of this community as the previous owners were!

We would like to take another second to say Thank you Canon City for everything you've done for us for the past 1.5 years.

We are so excited to announce that the truck will be switching hands to Jerry Cortez! He's keeping the truck right here in town and we believe we are putting it in great hands. He plans to adopt the current menu and keep your favorite burgers going. Keep an eye out on this page for all his updates!

Due to dwindling supplies we will have a limited menu today, shown in the pic below. Thank you for your understanding.

We will attempt to keep up with Doordash for delivery and text and call orders to 740-298-0165 for quicker pickup. We appreciate your patience if it takes longer than usual today.

We just want to throw another huge thank you out there. The only reason we have had any success this last year and a half is because of you beautiful people. You've supported us through any weather, through long lines and wait times, and you've been down for any crazy special we've thrown at you. Even though we are leaving, we will forever look back at our time here in Canon with nothing but gratitude and fondness. Thanks again for all those who supported us. We love you Canon City and we always will. ❤️ 🍔
