🍑 Peach Stand Update 🍑

We wanted to let everyone know that our peach stand will be opening, but this season will look a little different than normal.

Due to the hard freeze we experienced in March, our peach crop was significantly reduced. Because of the limited supply, we won’t have enough peaches to maintain regular business hours or consistently advertise when we’ll be open (Later, if the number peaches increase we may post in the way that most of you all are accustomed to).

Instead, we’ll be opening sporadically whenever we have peaches available. If you’re out and about, feel free to drive by and check on us—you just might catch us open!

To help us focus on serving customers and managing the crop we do have, we will not be posting daily updates or responding to messages asking whether we’re open on a particular day.

We appreciate your understanding and support during this challenging season. Thank you for supporting local agriculture, and we hope to see you at the stand when peaches are available!

We wanted to share an update on this year’s peach crop.

Unfortunately, the hard freeze in March caused significant damage, especially to our early varieties. Red Haven and Harvester peaches experienced an estimated 80–90% loss.

Some of our later varieties—Winblo, Red Globe, Majestic, and Loring—have a light to fair crop. On a more positive note, Cresthaven, July Prince, Carolina Gold, and Jefferson are showing a more promising yield. These are primarily July peaches.

At this time, we do not expect to announce an opening date until late June or early July. Please check back here on Facebook toward the end of June for updates.
