Here is the first class of sons from our resident AI sire, Lincoln. We added this bull to our arsenal because he fit our Big Picture Commitment to a T. Stress-free calving, big growth potential, valuable carcass trait combination and one that pushes the envelope on the indexes as well. Yet while his value on paper was impressive, it was his phenotype that sold us on bringing him home. Great looking, square and sound footed with lots of muscle and mass. A few years later and he's lived up to our expectations, but we're slowly adjusting how we use him. He's transitioned into a go-to calving ease sire that won't sacrifice growth potential in our program and others.
