Travis Family Farm is home to Rachyl's Goat Milk Soap, a collaborative family endeavor which began in 2009 and continues to grow today. Rachyl’s Goat Milk Soap takes hand milked, fresh goat milk from Nubian goats on Travis Family Farm and combines this with a few simple, all-natural or organic ingredients to create healthy products such as goat milk soap and body butters. In addition, Rachyl’s Goa

t Milk Soap also offers lip butters, soap decks, washcloths and gift sets. In keeping with the motto “Make Natural the New Normal”, Rachyl’s Goat Milk Soap takes the time to hand craft products in small batches – ensuring that the attention to quality surpasses quantity. By sourcing local and organic ingredients whenever possible, Rachyl’s Goat Milk Soap provides a safe alternative to many commercial brand products available on the market today. It also offers many varieties in scents and flavors which provide relief for many common ailments such as acne, dry or itchy skin, rashes, poison ivy, and even odor relief. For those with very sensitive skin, Rachyl’s Goat Milk Soap offers a mild line of unscented and fragrance-free products (great for use on babies and children). Rachyl’s Goat Milk Soap is a true home-based, small business which involves the participation of Rachyl’s entire family. Her parents, David and Lillian, bought Travis Family Farm in 1994 which provides the necessary barn and land Rachyl’s beloved goats require. Rachyl’s sisters, Jaklyn and Meysha, provide necessary support in caring for and milking the goats. Together, the family shares in the tasks associated with products from brainstorming ideas to tweaking.

Look what we found out in the pumpkin field today. 🦌
Dawson asked me, “What’s the word for when you’re really excited to see nature this close up, but also sad because one of them is so dehydrated and not doing well?”
These kids got to spend the day practicing their wildlife rescuer skills, helping these little ones get safely to someone who can rehabilitate and care for them. It was such a special experience.

“Bittersweet” might be the word Dawson was looking for. ❤️
