Just cold brewed all three of these blends for additions into the chocolate milk stouts that Ryan Pratt and I brewed a month and a half ago. 24 hours in the fridge and then they'll each be added to different batches before bottling.

Yesterday Ryan Pratt and I brewed 25 gallons of Imperial Chocolate Milk Stout that will ultimately be dosed with vanilla beans and coffee. Less than 12 hours later and all fermenters are going crazy.

Been so busy lately that we've been slacking off on brewing. However, we just added 15 pounds of fruit to a new Berliner: 10lbs of black currants and 5 pounds of sweet Michigan Cherries. We also have another Berliner that is currently souring that we plan on aging in sour Michigan cherries. Lover Berliners in the winter!

New beer on tap!

'Piwi Gose to Berlin' is a cross between a Gose and a Berliner Weisse beer. It looks like a pale ale, however, it is tart and salty with just a touch of coriander. Aged on peaches and kiwi and coming in at 6.5%, this brew is an Imperial, yet is light and extremely refreshing. The peach is prominent in the nose and on the palate. In short, it is delicious.

AB Death's Shadow, an 11% Mexican Style Imperial Stout will be on tap starting Friday!

A dark and thick stout that pours like motor oil, it was aged on cocao nibs, vanilla beans, cinnamon sticks, 3 different kinds of peppers, and oak that was soaked in apple brandy (hence "AB"). It's rich and creamy, with a lot of dark fruits and chocolate, and it finishes with a spicy back end - this stuff is delicious!
