3DF Maximus (Maxi) looking good at 3 months old. Not really into bull development but this guy is making it look easy. Born at 52 #, he was up nursing in minutes, the running within 15 minutes. Momma chased him constantly for the next 2weeks.

Cows are cows…. Just put the best bull on them you can afford, right? This years big lesson is ‘Momma makes the difference!’ These calves are within 3 days of each other @ 4 weeks old. Same sire, but the middle calf is out of a general cow. The other 2 are out of my registered cows that have great epds/genetics and it sure shows. The performance advantage on the calves may justify the higher price of the registered cows….at least that’s my theory for now.
