Dog parents... I think we finally found a winner! 🐶🦴

Our dogs are obsessed with Busy Bones!

🐾 Hoss and Kitty will happily chew on them for quite a while, which gives me a few minutes of peace around the house.

🐾 Hank... well... let's just say I still haven't found a bone that Hank can't demolish in under two seconds. 😂 But even he goes absolutely crazy when he sees the Purina Busy Bone bag come out!

The Crow Cam has become one of my favorite things at Grace Creek Farm! 🐦🖤

So many of you have asked how I'm able to capture all the crow antics, blue jays, woodpeckers, and other visitors. I use a Wyze Cam Pro paired with a solar panel so I don't have to worry about running power to it and it was so affordable.

If you've ever wanted to watch the wildlife in your own backyard, keep an eye on your bird feeders, or even check on your chickens, this setup has worked great for me.

In addition to our 4 crows🐦‍⬛🐦‍⬛🐦‍⬛🐦‍⬛ we now have 3 Redheaded Woodpeckers!! 👩🏻‍🦰
2 adults and one juvenile.
I was able to catch both adults on camera today!! So exciting!

We've also seen Blue Jays, Robins, KingBirds and more!!

🐦 Crow Update!

When I started putting food out, it was just one crow... Mr. Crowley.

Then he brought a friend. Then another.

This morning, there were FOUR crows at the breakfast buffet! 🖤

I've noticed they have quite the menu preferences: 🥇 Plums 🥈 Grapes 🥉 Meat 4️⃣ Eggs 5️⃣ Cat food 6️⃣ Peanuts (they always save these for last!)

Apparently, stale bread is a delicacy because Mr. Crowley made sure he claimed every last piece. 😂

Watching these intelligent birds become regular visitors has been one of my favorite parts of life at Grace Creek Farm.

Now I'm thinking about starting a weekly series: "Will the Crows Eat It?" 🐦🍉🌽🎃

What should be the first mystery food I put on the menu?

Well... Bready Boop's first baby wasn't perfect. 😂🍞
After days of feeding my sourdough starter, stretching, folding, proofing, and anxiously staring through the oven door, I finally baked my very first loaf.
She looked beautiful on the outside... golden, crusty, and smelled amazing.
Then I cut into her.
Let's just say the center was a little gummy. 😭
Was I disappointed? Yep.
Am I giving up? Not a chance.
Tomorrow I'm heading to the store for bread flour, feeding Bready Boop again, and trying loaf #2. Every sourdough baker says the first few loaves teach you more than any recipe ever could.
So here's to learning, laughing at the failures, and trying again.
Stay tuned... Bready Boop isn't done yet. ❤️🍞
