We are a small farm, BIG GARDEN nestled in the Pigeon Valley west of Asheville between Canton & Waynesville in WNC. We are a U-Pick farm with organic practices growing strawberries, blackberries, asparagus, wildflowers, dahlias, cut flowers, sunflowers, herbs, seasonal veggies, pumpkins, and more! Our famous farm to brick oven pizzas are worth the visit alone!

A year ago in June Grams and I attended our first goat yoga with the Interns and it was one of the most memorable classes of the season! Turns out, if your fence is goat proof, it’s also able to keep this twin mama’s babes corralled and we all got to relax and enjoy ourselves. If you’ve never done goat yoga before, it really is such a delightful experience. Join us this Saturday for our monthly class with Flagstick Farm and their baby Nubian goats. 🌿🧄 CSA Week 8 brought some gorgeous sights, including our first basil harvest 🌱, garlic this week 🧄, tons of dill 🌿, and the sweetest bird’s nest 🪺 found in our sugar snap peas! 🫛💚

🥕🌻 Taking a minute to promote our Fall Community Supported Agriculture program, or CSA boxes, in case you haven’t tried CSA before. CSA programs help support farms and farmers 🚜❤️ by buying a share of produce in advance and picking up freshly harvested veggies all season long. 🌽🥬🍅 Ours are harvested the day of or the day before pickup, and everything grown on our farm is grown with organic practices 🌱✨, so no spray or pesticides ever. 🚫🧪

You really do belong among the wildflowers. Our wildflowers took a minute to germinate this year due to the drought and now they’re really gorgeous. Come you pick a cup of flowers for $25, refills $20 all season. Just show up and we provide the cup as well as the snips. Take home a little bit of this mountain meadow with you today. And our cut flowers should be in very soon and I’m planning succession planting all season so look for more flowers all the way till frost! And our dahlias are in the ground growing by the minute. Let’s go, girls.
