Vintner's Canton Winery has new ownership. We look forward to working with all present and future customers. We are working with the federal and state governments on completing our licensing and should be ready sometime in February. If you would like updates on the winery or winery opening, please message us your email address.

We wish you all a very Happy New Year and look forward to meeting you in the near future. We apologize for any delay but we will have your favorite wines for you very soon! :-)

Well summer has certainly gone by fast this year. The Winery 's new ownership begins on September 1 with great new owners who I actually taught to make wine several years ago. The owners will continue with all the same great wines you all know and love and, I will be staying around for a period of time to help get them up and running. Since I am completely out of wine, I will be closed from August 7-14 for a vacation week and when I reopen,I will have many of your favorite fruit wines available. Traditional reds will not be ready until early December. Painter's Palate classes are being scheduled as we speak, we will be booking private wine tasting parties starting in September, open tastings available during the day and some new features the new owners have up their sleeves. All of the old traditional events will remain. The transition will give me an opportunity to introduce the new owners to my great customers and allow me to have the opportunity to see some of you before I head to Texas. Very little will be changing which should make you happy customers and, quite frankly, makes me happy too!! Y'all stop in now!

Hi All! Tomorrow will be open from 12-5 p.m. with Peach, Pomegranate, Wildberry and Blackberry available. Working with the new owner to get reds started for Christmas - hard to believe we have to think of Christmas when it is going to be 90 for the next few days.
Fruit wines are great in this weather. A little chill on them and they are good to go. My house is on the market so if you are interested in Canton - which by the way was listed as one of the 10 best cities in Michigan to live in - give me a call. I'll put you in touch with my realtor. I am making every effort to keep Facebook and my phone updated during this transition. Sorry for all the inconvenience, but feel free to call before you make a trip or leave a message - I will always return it.

Heading out to a private tasting party at 4:00 p.m. Back in the Winery tomorrow from 12-5. Wildberry, Apple, Pomegranate are available. Stop by. Next weekend I should have a more choices. Only 325 bottles of fruit wine fermenting before the Winery changes hands. Bittersweet but I know you will all treat the new owners with the same friendliness you all give me. Have a great weekend if I don't see you tomorrow. Cannot believe it is finally warm. It only took until the middle of July. Gotta love our Michigan.

I will be closed on July 9 reopening on Friday July 10 at noon.
Fruit wines available this week are Apple Riesling, Wildberry Shiraz and Pomegranate Zinfandel. If you need to schedule a bottling give me a call on Friday and we'll get that on the calendar. The best news is I have someone to purchase the Winery, so my great wines will continue to be available to you all and you will be able to make wine for weddings and Christmas and purchase wines by the bottle and all with my recipes. I am going to have a "get to know the new owner party" before I head out, probably toward September sometime. He's a great guy and will keep all you customers drinking the wines they love. Winery House Wednesday, July 1 will be 2:30-5:00 p.m. July 2 and July 3 12-5 closed July 4. Regular houses July 7 12-5.
Fruit Wines available for the 4th are Wildberry Shiraz, Green Apple Riesling, and Pomegranate Zinfandel at the special 4th of July price of $10. Stop by for a sample. Great to enjoy during the fireworks.
Brewer's Best Cider Select Cider Kits available including caps, bottles, sugar, carbonation drops and kit for $80 complete.
Available are pear, cherry, mixed berry and apple. Limited supply at this special price. Completes fermentation in one week and ready to sample and enjoy 2 weeks after fermentation completes.

Winery hours for Saturday, June 27 are 12-5 p.m. Fruit wines available are Wildberry Shiraz, Green Apple Riesling and Pomegranate Zinfandel. I know things have been crazy with hours but PLEASE check Facebook or the phone 734-354-9463 before you make a trip and find me closed. Have a wonderful weekend. Hope to see you soon! Hi All, the Winery will be open from 12-5 on Saturday and the following fruit wines will be available.....White Cranberry Pinot Grigio, Green Apple Riesling, Wildberry Shiraz and Pomegranate Zinfandel. The Winery will be closed from Saturday at 5:00 p.m. until Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. All you Dads have a great day on Sunday! See you soon!
