So another season starts. We had a tough winter . We can always see how tough it was on the deer by assessing the deer damage.
While we spray the trees with a natural deer repellent it was clearly noticeable where we could have done better. The Frasers outside the fenced area surprisingly did not have any damage because we sprayed them hard . We were so worried about them as they are like caviar to the deer. Other areas where we sprayed lightly did not fare that well but the trees will recover.
No deer made it into our 8 ft fenced area where we grow most of our our frasers and balsam firs. The deer traffic to the house got so bad that they were constantly setting off the alarm from cameras we have around the house and other buildings . We had to turn them off to get some sleep.

We are now closed for the season. Marilyn and I wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year. We are feeling very greatful for all our kind friends and neighbors,

This is our last weekend of the season !. The barn will be closed as of Wednesday 12/17 . We will keep selling pre-cuts until sold out, and u-cut until Friday 12/19 . Starting Wednesday cash sales only ,as the barn will be closed. We will be closed for the season Saturday 12/20
