This climber has more distinct canes than my rambler roses on the farm . The blooms are bigger and it blooms all summer unlike my ramblers that give one full flush of blooms early spring .

I’ve never seen a black carpenter bee until today! Wow, quite beautiful and so unique. Nature is awesome ! 🌱🐝

When the high temps become consistent, the bees will beard in order to regulate the hives temp and cool it down a bit. In the dead of summer the bearding can become quite massive with the bees literally hanging like a beard off the front of the hive, hence the term bearding. 🤣
