I'm sorry I have been out of touch. I had to get an office job last fall to help pay for major bills, and to get myself some health insurance. Since then I have been formally diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis and Celiac Disease, so gluten free has become mandatory for me. I cannot even be around flour without having a reaction, so kneading dough and mixing up baked goods will no longer be something I can do. I may get back to gluten and dairy free or Vegan baking at some point but right now my focus is on healing my body. Thank you all for your patronage and support over the past 5 years.

I'm going to be one of the vendors at Pensacola VegFest this weekend! Come on out and see me and try some yummy samples and maybe buy some delicious vegan treats to take home! I will have my Crunchy Seed Crackers, Flax Wraps, Raw Vegan Veggie Wraps, Gluten Free Vegan Fudgy Brownies, Vegan Cinnamon Rolls, GFDF Vegan Pumpkin Flax Muffins, Simple Sourdough Bread, Multigrain Sourdough Bread, and some Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Zucchini Bread (gf and vegan), along with a few other treats! I will be there from 11 to 5pm.

Coffee with toasted coconut almond milk, and a Pumpkin Spice Walnut Muffin to start my Saturday with a happy belly! The muffins came out light, moist, and delicious!

When it's Breakfast For Dinner Night, and the guys want pancakes, Mama gets a mini frittata filled with pastured eggs, sausage, organic kale, organic mushrooms,organic red bell peppers, and raw cheddar. And bacon on the side. Lots of bacon!

"When God closes a door, He opens a window." I recently found out that the main venue that I supply, The Drowsy Poet at Innerlight, is closing as of January 28. I have had a wonderful relationship with Steve Gagne, the franchisee, and his lovely family for almost three years. Steve has a wonderfully creative mind and frequently pushed me to expand my baking skills in ways that I couldn't have imagined. Because of his family, I have worked hard to expand my gluten and dairy free options so that his little girl could enjoy her birthday cake, and his wife could enjoy the hors d'ourves at parties without getting gluten sickness, and that the kids (and eventually customers) didn't have to feel deprived whatever the dietary issue. I am so incredibly grateful for the experience of working with the Gagne and Drowsy Poet families!
Since that door is now closing, hopefully, God will now open a window for me! I am still baking for the Pensacola Co-op, but no other venues at this time. I believe that I need to focus on my gluten free and special diet items, so I will be working to that end. As always, I am available for private orders; just PM me and let me know what you need!
