We are high school sweethearts and celebrated 18 years of marriage in July and 25 years together. πŸ₯° We have 3 beautiful children. Wyatt is 16, Paisley is 11, and Maysa is 4. We are originally from a very small town called Karval on the Eastern Plains of Colorado. We both grew up farming and ranching in Karval and moved back there after college. We had many titles in Karval such as farmer, voluntee

r Fire Department Chief, EMT, truck driver, fertilizer plant owner/manager, feed store owner, teacher, coach, athletic director, and VB official. We had always talked about moving to Texas, so we made the big move in 2014. We moved to Midland, TX and Shaun was a paid firefighter/EMT. We started missing the farm life and started searching for a place closer to home. We found an 80 acre farm with a house and big shop 6 miles west of Canyon, TX and moved here in 2015. We also purchased 30 acres of farm ground that was next to us. In 2017, we installed drip irrigation on 40 acres and planted alfalfa. Of course, it was a dry year so had a hard time getting it to come up. We have planted milo, sorghum and triticale on all our dryland and have had more failed crops than successful crops throughout the years. Shaun and I were talking one night about how we used to get a group of friends together and drive near the city to go through a big corn maze and even a haunted one and how much fun it was. Then he said, "we should do a big corn maze and pumpkin patch on our irrigation!" So here we are learning the ropes on something new! This is our 4th year of this adventure! Unfortunately, we had a very brutal storm in June that caused lots of damage to our farm. We will be opening our 2025 Haunted Maze Season ONLY this year. It will be 4 NIGHTS ONLY (Weather Permitting). We will NOT be opening our 2025 Regular Season or Field Trips this year due to the damage the storm caused. We are very sorry. We would really appreciate some prayers and your support this fall!

We got our FM transmitter going now!! πŸ™Œ You have 3 NIGHT'S LEFT to join us at our farm for a Country Christmas Lights Drive-Thru! We didn't have these bales decorated yet that first weekend we opened so if you came out then we want to invite you back out to see more lights that we got up! That first weekend was definitely a trial and error for us and we made several changes and additions since then. πŸ€ͺ We really appreciate all the wonderful support we've received with this adventure and already have plans to improve for next year!! πŸ™Œβ€οΈ
