September 9, 2026.... There is so much in the news everyday about food, recalls, beef imports, what to eat and what not to eat......there is such a disconnect between the government and the consumer...

The older I get, the more simple my eating habits get. Give me something with good flavor and that will be enjoyable and good for me and that's all I need.

We at Ranchers Storefront still concentrate on real food. Real beef, no additives, dry-aged, safe, USA born and raised, plus our vendors are focusing on real food also.

Let's all focus on a strong local food supply. It's been a difficult growing season for our vegetable producers but we will have some local squash, zucchini, and cucumbers this week.

August 25, 2025....I have held off commenting on what's been going on the last couple of days in the political world with beef, but something stood out to me and it's this......

He said he wanted to reduce the price by 25% by mixing in foreign meat out of three different countries.....

I fully believe that our customers do not want me mixing in a foreign product into our Pure product of ground beef to make it 25% less in price.....

Besides that it would go against our principles because we do not mix cattle together to make ground beef it is all pure trimmings out of steaks roast ribs etc.

I know everybody's tired of this heat but you all hang in there maybe just a few more weeks and we will have a little bit of cool.
It's really Pleasant outside around that 7:30 in the morning so take time to enjoy that a little bit of peace and quiet and never hurts in this chaotic world we live in....

Aug. 22, 2026....This is the last day on the ground beef special. 1/2 off.
