We’re already planning ahead for spring laying pullets, and you can too! We’ll have a variety of pullets available, giving you options when it’s time to add some new girls to your flock.

Remember those tiny speckled eggs we told you were coming?
They’re here!
Fresh Coturnix quail eggs are now available at De’Viar Farms. They may be tiny, but they’re incredibly versatile. Boil them, pickle them, add them to salads and appetizers, or make the cutest little deviled eggs you’ve ever put on a plate.
Fair warning: regular eggs might start looking enormous. 😂

Thinking About Guineas for Next Spring?

If you’re planning on adding guineas to your place for bug control next spring, don’t wait until spring to buy them.

This is a great time to get them while they’re still young, give them the fall and winter to grow, settle in, and learn where home is. Come spring, you’ll have a flock of grown guineas ready to get out there and start working on the bugs instead of trying to introduce a bunch of young birds right when the bugs show up.

We have Pearl, White and Pied guineas available in several ages, so there are options depending on what you’re looking for.

And if you need a good-sized flock, I offer discounts on 15 or more.

Buy them now. Raise them through the winter. Have a grown flock ready to go when spring hits.

Guineas Available at De’Viar Farms

If you’re thinking about putting guineas on your place for bug control next spring, now is actually a great time to get them.

I have Pearl, White and Pied guineas available, from just a couple days old up to around 3 months old.

One of the biggest advantages to getting them now instead of waiting until spring is that you can give them time to grow up and get accustomed to your place. By the time spring rolls around, they’ll know where home is and be ready to get to work on those bugs, grasshoppers, ticks and other pests.

Guineas are great little foragers and ours spend a lot of their time running around the farm doing what guineas do best — eating bugs!

I also have discounts available if you’re looking for 15 or more, so if you’ve got a larger property or want to start a good-sized flock, message me and we can put together a group for you.

A good boarding setup should give your horse more than four walls and a place to eat.
At De’Viar Farms, our horse stalls include individual runs, plus access to the arena and a peaceful farm environment where you can actually enjoy spending time with your horse.
You get the horse life without having to maintain an entire horse property yourself. We’d call that a pretty good deal. 😉

🐦 Did You Know Quail Is More Than Eggs?
Those tiny speckled eggs tend to get all the attention, but Coturnix quail have another side too.
Quail is a small, flavorful poultry option that can be roasted, grilled, smoked, or used in all kinds of recipes. Their smaller size also makes them naturally suited to individual portions.
As we grow our new quail operation, our plans go beyond eggs. Birds and eventually quail meat are part of what we hope to offer from De’Viar Farms.

🐔 From Little Peep to Egg-Laying Lady
There is a lot of growing between a tiny chick and the hen that eventually fills your egg basket.
At De’Viar Farms, we raise our pullets right here on the farm through those early stages. By the time they are ready for a new flock, they are fully feathered, established, and getting closer to laying age.
That means someone else has already handled the brooders, heat lamps, tiny-chick monitoring, and a whole lot of feed. You get to enjoy the part where they settle into your flock and start getting closer to earning their keep. 😉

🐦 Want Guineas Without Starting THIS Tiny?
Baby keets are cute, but maybe you would rather let someone else handle the tiny-bird stage.
Good news. We also have growing guineas available!
These birds are farther along but still bring everything people love about guineas. They are active foragers, hunt insects while roaming the property, keep a watchful eye on their surroundings, and will happily announce anything they consider suspicious.
And with guineas, the definition of "suspicious" is pretty broad. 😂
