The average tree you bring home for the holidays, took 7 years to grow. This varies based on the region where it is grown.
A Christmas Tree Farm is a large air purifier. One acre of trees consumes about 500 pounds of carbon dioxide and produces about 1000 pounds of oxygen each year!!
Christmas Trees are grown in all 50 states on about 16,000 tree farms.
MN harvests about 500,000 Christmas Trees per year.
