Even tho it’s Mother’s Day, I still had some chores to get done. Had to groom the angoras, especially since I didn’t do them last weekend. 🐰

Leah got her pregnancy shave, Jacob and Victoria both got plucked, and all 4 got nice blow outs.
Nest boxes set up for Dusky and Priscilla. And the girls cleaned all the rabbit trays, and then cleaned out my car. Matt has been on cooking detail all day, and fixed the drier. Whew!

All in all, it was a productive and pleasant day. Looking forward to dinner and the spa day that the girls have planned for me… 🥰

I’m trying really hard to embrace “No Mow May” so my bees can enjoy the dandelions when they arrive. My yard looks soooo bad right now 😂
I have no doubt that as soon as I give in and let Matt mow the yard, THAT’S when I’ll be notified that my bees are ready.

Can’t wait to see what colors I get… hoping to pull out the REW from both of them, or a black would be amazing!

Jacob decided he was in charge yesterday. Could not keep him in his pen to save my life. He keeps jumping thru the x-pen access hole (why is that even there??). Let’s see if this fix works…
