Anyone else get tricked into buying cute fall flannels and sweatshirts when it was 70 degrees? Just us? Even the weather knows it’s trick or treat season .

Every year as the patch comes to life and our family and friends come together to build just a little more than before, I get in my feelings about this valley and the foundation of love that built us. Every year has its hurdles, this year had some big losses. As we planted the patch we lost a neighbor and friend who demonstrated integrity and grit, a man who instilled those traits in us. Last week we lost a cousin who always turned up for family and shared his love for plants and barn art creation with us. This week we said good bye to Roleo, the horse Di and Jason bought together before they decided on forever and a horse that like Danny did it all. Ro joined Danny and Joey up on the highest point of our pasture and we will forever hold those three geldings in our hearts.

I write these statements with a grateful heart. We are so lucky to have had beautiful people and animals as our guiding lights as we grew. We love this land, this valley, and those strong beautiful souls it holds.

We hope to continue to create a space for our community to unite and grow together. We can’t wait to see you all and everything you contribute to our life and our kiddos.
