******PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT******

SPECIAL ATTENTION NEIGHBORING FIRE COMPANIES AND LOCAL COMMUNITY MEMBERS!!!

If you see us out on fire calls trying to stay hydrated...

** NO - WE ARE NOT DRINKING BEER!!

And

** NO - WE ARE NOT HANDING OUT FREE BEER to help keep our assist companies hydrated on large fire calls!!

** WHAT WE ARE DOING IS....Enjoying one of the 2,352 cans (98 cases) of drinking water canned and donated to us by Anheuser-Busch!!
In 2019 Anheuser-Busch partnered with the National Volunteer Fire Council (NVFC) to create the Emergency Drinking Water for Wildland Firefighters program. Each year Anheuser-Busch pauses beer production to can clean drinking water to distibute to wildland firefighters. This year we were chosen to receive this generous donation after filling out the application.

We want to sincerely thank Anheuser-Busch and the NVFC for continuing this incredible program. And also a special thank you goes out to Wendell Distributing Inc. for making the unique delivery! It's not everyday we have a beer truck dropping off at the firehall!

At Wendell Distributing, we are dedicated to supporting the communities we serve. That is why we are partnering with and to deliver 2,300+ cans of emergency drinking water to the Melfa Volunteer Fire & Rescue Co. to provide critical hydration to our local heroes.
