Toby and I have a weekly commitment to cook for two seniors every Monday evening. We prepare their meals for the week, label and organize everything, and even post a menu on their fridge. 🍽️

We enjoy serving them dinner while playing smooth jazz and spending the evening with them. ❤️

Several people have asked what Silver Spoon Prep actually does, so I wanted to share how it all began.🤍

About six months ago, a client of mine at Crunch Fitness was getting ready to travel and felt uneasy about leaving her parents without anyone to help prepare meals or check in on them. I told her I’d be more than happy to stop by, cook, and make sure they were okay.

Originally, I would go over once a week and prepare about six meals. One evening, before I left, I realized I had extra food and decided to make them dinner right then. That simple moment turned into something really special.

The gentleman is 94, and his wife— of many, many years—is 89. They now look forward to my visits every Monday evening. I spend about three hours with them: preparing meals, cooking dinner, talking, laughing, and just spending time together.
Silver Spoon Prep is more than meal prep. It’s companionship, care, and an extra set of eyes on our elderly loved ones.
