Good afternoon. Wow time flies. Felt like it was just yesterday we were in August and October was forever away. Well October 31st is right around the corner and we will be closing early because it’s our first wedding anniversary and I want to take Mrs Sexy out someplace decent. (Still trying to figure that out and yes I know it’s only a few days away 🕺).

Also we are closed November 4-6th for doctors appointments. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Please keep spreading the word to friends family coworkers even strangers on the street. We could use the boost so we can hire staff and not have to close. 😬

Hello everyone. I am pulling the plug on Grubhub and will no longer use them for delivery. Every time someone orders via Grubhub they have the same experience, they get cold food an hour after we've readied it in the system. Today the order sat for 20 minutes saying "assigning a driver". I call each time and they say "I understand and apologize and thank you for bringing this to our attention" but the experience is the same. If you're a Grubhub user, please consider anyone else because this organization is terrible from a merchants standpoint.

If you are a merchant that has successfully integrated with Grubhub please drop me a note and tell me what the secret is. We finish and ready every order within the prep time we've put in the system.

Hey everyone, quick update for today’s schedule (Monday, 10/12):

We sincerely apologize, but we’re running behind today. We’ve been stuck in a local doctor’s waiting room for nearly 90 minutes past our appointment time... and we are still sitting here. 😅

The beauty (and downside) of running a true small business is that when life throws an unexpected delay, we don't have a massive corporate crew to open the doors for us. We are shooting to have the kitchen open by 4:00 PM today. Thank you all for understanding and bearing with us!

Look, I’m not from Philly—but whenever I set out to make something, I don't stop until it’s absolute perfection. We took a legendary Philly foundation and infused it with that signature Big Sexy Eats flair.
