Spicy Addicts bring their own own hot sauce!
We brunched at Baja Cantina. For heat and flavor we brought some Arch Nemesis Hot Sauce. This proved to be a great choice. You can check out the review below.
For brunch we enjoyed some tasty Carne Asada Breakfast Burritos with a side of authentic Chilaquiles. The breakfast burrito was tasty with seasoned and grilled Carne Asada, delicious breakfast potatoes, egg, onion, and cheese. We've had a lot of different styles of Chilaquiles but our Mexican friends who were brunching with us said that these Chilaquiles were very authentic--just like their mother makes. It was mildly spicy and very saucy with a deep, rich, almost mole-style sauce. Very tasty.
Of course, we spiked up the heat with the Arch Nemesis
review: Arch Nemesis from Scotty B Hot Sauces
Ingredients:
[Tomatoes, Red Habanero Peppers, Red Savina Habanero Peppers, Ghost Peppers, Yellow Onion, Lemon Juice, Distilled Vinegar, Garlic, Sea Salt, Corn Starch, Spices]
This hot sauce has a lot of heat, but the pepper flavor is amazing. The Tomato flavor is apparent for a split second before all of the bold flavors of Red Habaneros and Ghost Peppers come through. Yes, you feel some serious peppery heat but it's flavor too! The other ingredients are all complimentary to the stars of this show (the peppers). The Lemon Juice and Vinegar appear as a mild follow on to the peppery flavor giving a nice acidic balance. And the Onion and Garlic become apparent only as a lingering after taste that lasts for several minutes.
