We cut the grass on the left side of the patch, BUT I still highly recommend wearing boots and long pants. It is to protect your skin from bugs and other irritants. We do not spray or fertilize our propety ever with anything, so yes, we have a variety of weeds and bugs as part of the natural habitat. They don’t bother us, because we wear adequate clothing.
And because we allow nature to do its thing, our blueberries are high quality and delicious!

The bushes are FULL like never before.
I wish I could invite you to pick all these blueberries. Unfortunately, husband is out of commision after his triple bypass surgery and I got nobody to cut that grass and get the field ready. If you do want to stop by, pick as much as you want, pay what you can. But unless you have big boots and long pants, please don’t venture out here.

We haven’t had livestock on this pasture in 3 years, and the grass is still going strong! Diverse vegetation, lucious and beautiful! In fact the whole homestead is abundant and bright green! Blueberries bushes are packed. So many different birds, bees, butterflies, fireflies, rabbits, squirrles, and deer everywhere. 🌱🐝🐢🐛🐇🦌🦋🪱

Both the farm and the food truck businesses are officially closed so we can focus on our family's healing. If I'm being completely honest, we lost our connection to the mission that brought us to these 10 acres almost 10 years ago. The hustle took over, and we want that original purpose back. Life requires a major pivot right now, but it's time to return to what actually matters.

Hello from the Homestead👋
A new year always brings out that desire to start planning. I’ve been planning and planning for so many years, I forgot how it feels NOT to plan. This year, I really have no plans. And friends, it feels good! I’m just going to let it all happen. Knowing that everything that happens will only happen for our benefit. 🤲🏼

PandA Homestead, LLC is officially out of business, closed, done. No regrets, just many lessons! 🙂
We are still here, and we are so grateful!
Roaming around we only have 6 chickens, 3 turkeys, 1 goose, and then we have Pickles the potbelly pig, and Princess the registered Glocestershire Old Spot. 🐷
And we also have the blueberry patch looking great after a much needed haircut. 🫐

Not sure what’s next. We are just taking it easy, enjoying eachother, and this little corner of Earth we have been entrusted with, remembering why we were brought here to begin with, processing everything we’ve been through and healing, and let it all happen as it needs to happen.
