Old Hawaiian Coffee

A small coffee farm and mill in Kona, Hawaii. We grow our coffee naturally and use no herbicides or pesticides. We use no herbicides or pesticides.

We are a small family operated farm and mill in Honaunau Hawaii. We grow coffee and process coffee for ourselves and a number of other small farms in South Kona. The processing of our coffee is done with double filtered chlorine free water. We roast using a small electric hot air coffee roaster which requires us to roast more often but ensures that our coffee reaches our customers to usually within a week of when it was roasted. Our processing allows us to keep our hands on our coffee up to the moment when we mail it off to our customers. Please call or email for more information or visit our website. And within a week the coffee drying deck has gone from empty to full. Usually it slowly fills up but it seems most of our client farms have the harvest coming in all at once this year, looks like a decent harvest too!

Coffee season has started. We will get more and more coffee until the height of the season in September and October after which it will decline until December.

Busy time on the farm. Coffee flowering is giving us our 'Kona Snow' look in the fields with bees busy at work. Twelve newborn lambs to help with the weeds and vines and of course the busy chickens around the house.
