Happy 10 year Anniversary 🎉

I realized today was a special day. 10 years ago Kenny Oprisko taught me how to do my first kielbasa making and Smoking lesson. I’m thankful that Kenny and the Oprisko family entrusted me with keeping the old fashioned kielbasa skill alive and their families tradition. I’m Thankful to all of my family and friends who have kept this journey going. There has been many ups and downs, long days and long nights, birth of my two children and them in pack and plays on Saturdays while I sold at the store, Covid running kielbasa up and down the stairs, prices hikes because of pork shortage in China or gas hikes, and my mad scientist brain 🧠 of trying new flavors, failures and retries, running more electricity to the garage for more kielbasa storage. We have grown from a local secret to a place that has been in national magazines, on multiple news stations, nominated top chef of NEPA, shipping to movie stars, shipping to sports teams, shipping to every state across the United States (thank you to the grandma who sent two rings to the grandson in Hawaii last year), shipping to Alaska and almost a guy getting it shipped by sled dogs once in Alaska, Oprisko kielbasa has traveled to Africa, Italy, and just last week going back to the Netherlands for holidays. The stories are probably the coolest part. This small town butcher shop’s Polish kielbasa reaching all ends of the Earth 🌍 So Thank you 🙏 to my customers that believe in us for your special family gatherings and holidays. I truly love the stories and pictures you share with me. Our t-shirts and hoodies reaching all parts of the world for vacations. I was scared to make this leap 10 years ago because of money 💰. Was my obsession with kielbasa and smoked meat going to be able to pay for the hobby I envisioned. Because of your continued support I have been able to bring my mad scientist ideas to life and other places are trying to copy cat some.

Thank you again to all and here is to another 10 years, I hope🤞🍻, of keeping Pennsylvania’s Goodest Polish kielbasa tradition Alive!!!

Final 2 days open for the summer!!!
We will shut down until the end of October before we make kielbasa again.

Nobody has the flavors of smoked kielbasa like us!!!

So hot out of the smoker was 150 rings of cherry 🍒 wood smoked, I also made Turkey 🦃 kielbasa, turkey and Swiss 🧀.

We made more batches of regular patties and I made some hot packs of patties. Ghost pepper cheese & the Hot pepper cheese patties. Hot pepper is my rings that the hunters love to get for the hunting camps. I will be also smoking batches of those tomorrow with a fresh batch of our famous honey sriracha kielbasa.

Many kielbasa shops are trying to replicate our honey sriracha kielbasa but come get the one that started the trend, the one in food and wine magazine!!!
