This week’s topic wasn’t really about cravings.
It was about awareness.
Because a lot of you are finally realizing:
the nighttime eating, the snacking, the “starting over tomorrow” cycle…
usually isn’t happening because you’re lazy or undisciplined.
It’s happening because your body and brain are exhausted.
Under-eating all day.
Trying to “be good.”
Living off caffeine.
Running on stress.
Ignoring hunger signals.
Then expecting yourself to feel calm and in control around food at night.
That’s not how biology works.
And honestly?
Some of you probably noticed this week how automatic your patterns became.
Long day → snack
Stress → pantry
Overwhelmed → cravings
Not because you’re broken.
Because your brain learned a coping pattern.
But this week, you practiced interrupting it.
Maybe not perfectly.
But even pausing for 60 seconds before reacting is a massive shift.
Because awareness creates choice.
And choice is what starts changing habits long term.
Some cravings need food.
Some cravings need regulation.
Some cravings need rest.
Learning the difference is the real skill.
And THAT is how you stop feeling out of control around food. 💪
