Thank you SO much to RVR resident, Karlene Grange, for creating this awesome rainbow art piece for the front door of the Ranch House! We absolutely love it!

We invite you to create your own handmade rainbow artwork to display on a window of your home to spread hope and cheer during the dark days of the Coronavirus pandemic. Wouldn't it be nice to see cheerful, rainbow decorated windows throughout RVR to show that we are all in this together?

These are unprecedented times – locally, nationally and internationally. The Coronavirus is spreading, and the chances of being infected are growing with each new day.

The time has come for RVR to step up its efforts to address the potential effects of the virus.

Today, we are announcing the temporary closure of the Ranch House.

The facility will be closed beginning tomorrow (Monday, March 16.) We expect the closure to last until at least April 9, or until it’s appropriate to reopen.

In addition, we are cancelling the upcoming RVR Master Association Board meeting, which had been scheduled for Wednesday, March 18. And, we are cancelling all committee meetings and other previously scheduled Ranch House activities – until at least April 9, or whenever the Ranch House reopens.

Join us for a Holiday Craft Fair at the Ranch house tomorrow, Friday, Nov. 15 from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Featured artisans will be sharing their creative talents such as: notecards, art sets, ornaments, custom holiday bows, labels and wreaths, wine bottle gift bags, unique hats and bags, metal sculptures, and many different styles of beautiful jewelry. Cash or credit card may be required from vendors, for your planning, please bring both!

Whether you’re interested in planning a trip to visit US battlefields of your patriotic ancestors, walking the streets of an ancestral village or meeting distant relatives, heritage travel offers a rich and rewarding experience. Join Lisa and learn tips for researching, planning, and connecting on your personal journey.

Jules will introduce the documentary film with great personal connection for her. Her brother created the documentary and her father was the subject. Captured on a camera phone as it happened, Father Unknown is the true story of a man’s struggle to face the emptiness he carries inside. Disconnected from the people closest to him and haunted by the secrecy in his family, he records his desperate search for connection on a journey with the father he’s never truly known.

Light refreshments will be served. This event is open to RVR members only.

The RVR Clay Tennis Courts are now Closed for the Season. Due to freezing temperatures at night resulting in wet courts for the majority of the day, the clay courts are now officially closed for the season. The courts will re-open in the spring of 2020, weather permitting around mid-April. Thank you for another great tennis season, we look forward to seeing you all back on the courts in the spring!
