We are a passionate micro-brewing company in Carbondale, CO with years of experience in brewing.
We are looking for an assistant brewer with experience to join us producing rivers of beer on our 18 barrel brewhouse.

High level of attention to detail

Duties:

Handle Raw materials and finished product (be able to lift 60 lbs)

Facility maintenance and organization

Cellar /Warehouse work

Basic brewery cleaning and sanitation work

Use Forklift and other equipment in warehouse environment, safely

Monitor gravities, temperatures and standard SOP's.

Taste evaluation of finished product for off flavors and recipe consistency

Set up and perform FV and BBT CIP’s, while maintaining our quality focused SOP’s

Work on and operate packaging line

Operate keg washer and fill kegs

Be responsible for ensuring that safety procedures are adhered to throughout the building

Communicate regularly and efficiently with Brewing team

Be on time to assigned shift

Candidate needs:

Preferred Brewing experience, but not necessary

Must be 21 years of age

Must have a passion for beer and the work it takes to make it

Must have attention to detail and be Quality-minded

Will have a high level mathematical, verbal, and written communication capacity

Be able to work in team

Flexibility in schedule to work days, nights and weekends if needed

Basic knowledge of cleaning and sanitation chemicals

Standing up to 10 hours per shift

Stooping, bending, crouching, reaching, Squatting, Dodge, Dip, Dive, Duck, Dodge

Lifting up to 60 pounds to shoulder height repetitively

Able to lift 140 lbs to the waist

Working in often hot/wet/cold/humid conditions

Ability to walk up and down stairs and ladders throughout shift
