Remember.. these flowers aren’t just for us 🐝🦋

One of my favorite things about walking through the field is seeing who has checked in for the day. Butterflies, bees, moths, dragonflies, and plenty of other tiny visitors I couldn’t name if I tried.

We may have planted the flowers for people to enjoy, but apparently word got out.

Our blooms are in peak season, and the field is full of color and life. We hope you’ll come cut a bouquet, wander around, and enjoy a little piece of it with us.

Just remember—you may have to share the flowers!

Most people see a vase of zinnias.

We see months of planting, cultivating, weeding, watering, and hoping the weather cooperates. Some rows thrive, some don’t, and every year teaches us something different.

The good rows make it worth it.

The zinnias are putting on a show right now, and the field is full of color. If you stop by this week, you’ll have no trouble filling a bouquet.

One thing we’ve learned is that every photographer works differently.

Some can knock out a family session in 30 minutes. Others want extra time to work with kids, change locations, or wait on the right We have talked with the community and we changed our rentals to fit the way people actually use the farm.

Current photography rentals:

30 minutes — $25
60 minutes — $35
3 hours — $90
All day — $160

Whether you’re a professional photographer scheduling clients or someone looking for a good place to take family photos, senior portraits, or engagement pictures, the farm is available to reserve online.

We’re always listening to feedback and making changes that make sense. If there’s something that would make your experience better, let us know. That’s how we plan to keep improving.

When we launched our photography reservations, we knew there would probably be a few things we’d need to adjust. Every good business takes a chance on a new idea, then listens to the people using it to make it better.

After talking with several local photographers, we’ve made a few changes to better fit the way photo sessions are actually scheduled. Our reservation options are now:

• 30 minutes – $25
• 60 minutes – $35
• 180 minutes – $90
• All day – $160

These new time slots work much better for mini sessions, full sessions, and everything in between.

A huge thank you to everyone who has shared feedback with us. We genuinely appreciate it, and we’ll keep making improvements as we continue to grow. If you have ideas for props, backdrops, or anything else you’d like to see at the farm, let us know—we’re always listening.

I’ve had quite a few people ask about using the flower farm for photography, so I figured it was time to officially open it up.

For those who don’t know us, Good Faith Flower Co. is a U-Pick flower farm located at:

Whether you’re taking photos for families, seniors, engagements, maternity sessions, or just looking for a field full of flowers, we’d love to have you.

Photography Reservation Pricing
• 45 minutes – $50
• 1.5 hours – $90
• 3 hours – $150
• All day – $300

I’ll be working on adding some props and photo areas around the farm, with more coming as the summer goes on.

I finally have the time to start sprucing the place up a bit. The grass is cut, paths are established, and the flowers are really starting to put on a show.

Zinnias, cosmos, marigolds, and sunflowers are up and blooming, and it’s exciting to finally see everything coming together after all the work planting.

I put up a new sign at the table with an updated pricing list and restocked the rubber bands for everyone to use when making their bouquets.

The high tunnel has some beautiful flowers blooming as well, and the public is welcome to walk inside and take a look (just watch your step!).

Lisianthus is in full bloom off to the side. This is a new flower for us this year, and I’m excited to finally have enough to share. The blooms last a very long time in a vase, and they are $2 a stem.

Happy Fourth of July! 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙

We’re incredibly thankful for the freedom to grow what we love, for this amazing community that continues to support our little flower farm, and for another summer surrounded by beautiful blooms.

If you’re celebrating with family and friends this weekend, we’d love to help you bring a little color to the table. The flower fields are blooming, the U-Pick is open, and we have wrapped bouquets at Act XII.

If you’re planning to spend time outside today, please be extra careful in this heat. Stay hydrated, take breaks in the shade, and don’t push yourself too hard. The flowers love the sunshine—but we all need a little relief from it!

It feels good to be back.

The last couple of weeks have been spent in a tractor seat, racing the weather and getting this year’s soybean crop in the ground. That’s just the rhythm of life around here—sometimes the flowers have to wait while we take care of the crops that have sustained our family for generations.

Now, my attention is shifting back to the flower farm, and it couldn’t be happening at a better time.

The zinnias are beginning to show off, the cosmos are starting to dance in the breeze, and the first sunflowers are opening their faces to the sun. Every day the fields look a little fuller, a little brighter, and a little more like summer.

If you’ve been waiting for flower season to really begin, now is the perfect time to come visit. The U-Pick is open, and we’d love to see you wandering the rows, building a bouquet that’s uniquely yours.

And if you’re passing through town and don’t have time to make it out to the farm, we’ve also restocked fresh wrapped bouquets at Act XII.

Thank you all for your patience while I disappeared for a little while. Farming has a way of demanding every ounce of your attention when it’s time to plant, but I’m looking forward to spending the rest of the summer sharing the beauty that’s growing here with all of you.
