Yesterday, we celebrated my number 1 VIP, my daughter, with a pink coquette themed party.
There were chocolate covered pretzel sticks, cotton candy popcorn, chocolate oreo fudge cupcakes, strawberry angel food cupcakes (and her mini cake), and mini cheesecakes with strawberry, caramel or fudge. I think everyone left with full bellies! 🎀💕

Happy 1st birthday to my sweet baby niece, Merida! 🥰 Her birthday is only a few weeks after her big sisters birthday, so we celebrated their birthdays together a few weeks ago with a super cool Scooby Doo party.

I unfortunately had to work a few weeks ago and couldn't make my nephew's party or cake. 😔
So I was very happy to be off work to be able to make my niece's Miraculous ladybug party. Her cake is vanilla with strawberry frosting. I tried something new and flavored the frosting with freeze-dried strawberries. I was really excited about how it turned out!! The cupcakes have lemon strawberry frosting.

Stay tuned for more family VIP cakes! Another of my nieces turned 4 today, and her sister turns 1 on Valentine's Day. We celebrate them next week!

Now that I've completed my last scheduled order, it is time to announce that I will be closing the kitchen until after Valentine's Day 2025. It's coming up on the busiest time of year for me, both with my full-time job and in my free time. The holidays are already busy, and I'd like to focus as much of my free time on my family and the yearly gifts of cookies that I give out. I also have a sister, 3 nieces, and a nephew with birthdays between now and Valentine's Day that I'd like to be able to make the cakes for.

I'm such a people pleaser that I know if I didn't make an "official " post, I would take on additional orders that I may not necessarily have the time to make. I want to be able to give all of my orders as much love as possible.

Don't worry, though. I'll be back to taking orders and making beautiful, delicious cakes after Valentine's Day! I will definitely be posting any cakes that I make for my family and the Christmas cookies.

I hope you all have beautiful holidays filled with love! Thank you all for loving my art and allowing me to play a part in all your special days! 💜
