We’re excited to share that George’s Subs & Pizza has been voted Best Sandwiches/Subs in The Sentinel’s 2026 Best of Cumberland County!

Since 1958, George’s has been serving Carlisle, and we couldn’t do it without the community that continues to show up and support us.

Special shoutout to Kevin Rockwood and our friends at George's Pizza for catering the Downtown Carlisle Association's lunch meeting today! Due to our crazy schedule, we had to switch things up a little bit this month, but we typically meet the first Wednesday of the month at 8:30am, at the DCA office. (Lower level of the Carlisle Borough building, 53 West South Street.)

Jay Abom from Abom & Kutulakis - Attorneys at Law is the organization's Solicitor and also serves as the Promotions Committee Chair. Please reach out if you're interested in volunteering to support the revitalization efforts in the downtown community.

One year ago, George’s looked a lot different.

Looking back at where we started makes us even more excited about where we’re going. From the early days of renovation to the memories being made around every table today, it’s been an incredible journey.
