Celtic Knot Alpacas We are a small family run alpaca farm in South Central Pennsylvania. We are happy to open our farm to visits by appointment. Please call or email.

We specialize in unique handmade items from primarily alpaca fiber (local whenever possible). We also have felted Christmas ornaments, fly tying kits, felting kits and both natural and hand dyed yarn.

Celtic Knot Alpacas is looking for part time help this coming Spring during shearing season.

My mom has decided to retire from holding heads and pulling ropes for me while I am shearing (she is in her 70s). This means that I am in need of someone to help me with both on farm and off farm shearing during the months of of April, May and June. The job is a paid position, based off the number of alpacas shorn on each job and responsibilities include helping to wrangle alpacas, pull ropes and hold heads as I shear. Schedule can be a little with weather changes, but I will be trying to schedule farms in advance to help with know when I will need help. So if you are interested in learning about shearing and think it is something you might like doing please let me know.

We will be with the market every Wednesday up through Christmas for all your alpaca needs.

And we will also be making a few off farm appearances, the first of which will be the first and second Saturday’s in December at Talking Breads Bakery.
