Harvesting more variety this week, still getting loads of cucumbers though. The tomatoes are starting to ripen and the okra is being picked daily now. So surprised to have clusters of grapes this year, the vine was planted last fall. Thank you Lord for the bounty this year!!

We have local, fresh, farm raised Black Angus beef for sale. The steer was grass fed until the last month, then fed a feed mix to finish. No steroids or antibiotics were used in raising him. There is a limited quantity, especially the steaks. Please note that these are PER POUND prices. The hamburger comes in 1 # packages, some of the steaks are 2 # per package. The packages are vacuum sealed and are USDA inspected, processed at 5R Custom meats.

We are located in central Arkansas and can arrange to meet in Hazen, Carlisle, Lonoke, Des Arc, Beebe, Cabot, and surrounding areas. We could also deliver in these areas for a fee.

Lunch today out of the garden!! Spinach and onions were sautéed using olive oil then farm fresh eggs (thanks to Ruth Corley and Shannon Bokker) were added with a little seasoning. Then a side of carrot salad, using the green tops and carrot. The tops are very rich in vitamins, add them to salad or in sauces, they are very good!! It is very awesome being able to eat from our garden. Thank you Lord for providing!!

Amazing how a garden can change in just 5 days!! It is going well, snow peas are blooming and will be putting on pods soon. The cucumbers are starting to bloom and the lettuce is nearing the end of season. The grape vines are spreading and the blueberry bushes are doing well. The pollinators are working hard, looking forward to spring honey soon!!
