The farm stand is open today, 10am to 7pm.

It’s been a battle this spring, but despite the blood, sweat, tears, and one bee sting directly to the eye (I’m not exaggerating, one of them literally got my eyelid), we are ready to open.

Come see what all the suffering was for, and pick up some goodies while you’re here.

Hey friends. We’ve been quiet. Like, really quiet.

The last few months have been that kind of season — the kind where life shows up with a lot of feelings and not a lot of answers. Some good. Some hard. All of it real. The farm didn’t disappear, we just had to step back and be humans for a while.

But we’re back. And the farm waited for us like it always does.

The farm stand opens this week. All of our maple syrup is bottled and ready to go. Spring honey gets processed Thursday.

Thank you for still being here. It means more than you know.

We have Bob. We have Robert. The rooster situation is well established.

And now — possibly — we have Roberto.

A ring neck pheasant showed up about two weeks ago and has been casually orbiting the farm ever since. Getting closer. Watching. Considering his options apparently.

We are choosing to take this as a sign. Social media, this is your moment — how do you befriend a ring neck pheasant and make him a permanent member of the farm chaos?

A nice little swarm recently moved into my trap.

Less than 5 days in the trap. FIVE DAYS.

The bees were not interested in settling in slowly and getting comfortable. They showed up and immediately got to work like they had a mortgage to pay.

Our guy Chuck joined the chickens tonight. He was hanging with the ducks yesterday. He’s not sure if he’s a chicken or a duck. Thus the name Chuck.

The Trading Post is waking up from its winter nap.
Opening day: Sunday April 26th. 🍁

Full inventory list coming later this week, but the star of the show is Maple Syrup. Short season this year, so there isn’t a lot — and it will go fast. We’ll have regular Maple, and if the universe cooperates, a small batch of Coffee and Vanilla may make an appearance too. No promises on those last two. They’ll be ready when they’re ready.

More details later this week. Stay tuned and maybe set a reminder. Just saying.
