Huge thank you to Lindsay, Megan, Wendi, Andrya, Lilly, and everyone at Middle River Friends Church for helping me put together meals for the community today. ❤️

There are so many resources being offered right now, so please keep using them, checking on your neighbors, and helping where you can. I know a lot of our small businesses in town will be struggling the longer this continues so try to be patient with all of them even though I know it is hard.

It really does take a village… especially when the village has no water.

Also, I vote we have one giant pool party once the water is back on and never take our water for granted

I saw a comment from someone saying they were already struggling financially before the water situation, and now it’s even harder with everything going on, especially having to rely on fast food to feed the kids.

I operate out of a clean, food-safe kitchen, and I’ve been trying to think of a way I could help.

Would there be any interest in simple, family-friendly meals like pans of spaghetti, mac & cheese, ham sandwiches, or other easy meals I can make in bulk? With hopefully minimal dishes to transport & wash?
I will deliver it in disposable pans and can provide paper plates and silverware.

I have enough stored water that boiling pasta and preparing food safely won’t be an issue. I’m not sure how many people would need something like this, but if it would take even a little stress off some families right now, I’d be happy to see what I can put together.

Edit to add- evidently our well needs serviced so having that as backup to help only lasted a day before the well quit. 🙃

Well with this lovely water fiasco going on in town we will be avoiding dishes piling up and will be closed this weekend. We do have a back up well on property but would like to reserve that- however please message me for a shower or water .

HOWEVER

Please reach out if you are in need of snacks or bottled water. I am also happy to help watch kiddos that are home from school should this continue. I do have open daycare spots that i will gladly take a few drop in kiddos for free.

Yes, we are still in business.
Between a health scare, the farmers market, & getting locked out of our business page there were some questions.

I am finishing up my preorders for the week and as we wrap up the farmers market season our Carlisle stand will be opening Sept 25th.
