{Reserve by June 19}
Warm weather is here and with it comes the best time of the year to reserve a whole or half lamb! Reservations for our July processing appointment must be made by June 19.
The price is $3.00/lb (live weight) which will be approximately $180 for a half and $360 for a whole. Lambs are processed between 120-130 pounds live weight, thus the price and weight will vary.
Processing is completely customized to your preferences, and therefore is paid separately when you pick up your meat from the processor. Please call Eureka Locker for estimate on processing.
Our lambs are born here on the farm and finished on hay and grain. We are dedicated to the health of our animals and their well-being. The end-product you receive is 100% locally born and raised!

*Please note: Our 2021 slots are already reserved with Eureka Locker. We are unable to move dates with the locker. Processing date is set for late July.

About Crown Point Farm.
Crown Point Farm is a diversified family farm in Carlock, IL. We specialize in grain, forage, and livestock. With the use of new and adaptive farming practices, we have increased overall yields and acre productivity on our farm. We pride ourselves with the ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with landlords and partners.
We are honored to continue a registered Southdown sheep flock that has been maintained in our family since the early 1950’s. In 2018, we purchased a commercial sheep flock. Over the next few years, we will be heavily marketing our sheep for lamb sales as well as purebred breeding stock.
About MillerDowns.
We raise show-quality Southdown sheep in the heart of Central Illinois. MillerDowns started as a 4-H project in 1953. Over the decades it has grown into a flock that is competitive at the state and national levels. We are proud that MillerDowns sheep are still a family 4-H project that has now spanned 3 generations.
Though it is true we like to be competitive in the show ring, our first focus is to raise practical and productive breeding stock while preserving the beautiful Southdown breed character. We want the stock we raise and sell to work in and out of the show ring.
We gladly welcome visitors to our farm to look through our stock. Give us a call, we’d be glad to spend some time with you.

As stewards of the land, we continue our parents’ and grandparents’ mission to connect local farms and communities together. We are humbled to carry on this tradition and watch our hard work grow.
