Like I said yesterday pens are full and we are hoping someone can find their burner for next year. Starting off will be the Spring yearling girls for 2026. Both have loads of potential and each goes back to great Swiss cow families. We will be offering choice of 6 heifers total. Pm for pricing. More photos of the summer yearling group to come.

Congratulations to everyone on their nominations. Three years ago, we decided to make the trip to World Dairy Expo, chasing nominations. Each year, we have been very fortunate to achieve this goal. Bikini is due in March; hopefully, she will calf as nicely as her nominated sister. We are crossing our fingers that Bourbon is confirmed pregnant so she can make the trip as a Sr 3. Hopefully, we will be able to bring both girls and exhibit our first produce of dam at Madison. Thanks to everyone for the help at home and at the shows. Wishing all a wonderful holiday season! Looking forward to a successful 2025. Maybe we can get the boss to make the trip next year!!!

Got our picture back from expo! But couldn’t help but notice the similarities in our back to back 4th place finishes. These two ladies are the type we are striving to continually make. Hope we can make it 3 years in a row of having a winter yearling in the top 6 at expo.

Hoping one of our two winter calves from this year develop like these two girls did for us.

Very pleased with the girl’s photos from Expo! Had 3rd jr best 3 this year with these three. These are the types of heifers we are striving to breed for and develop! Watch out for some Meadow Hill heifers next year at some sales or stop by the farm and find the next anchor in your string.

The girls are back from expo and we’re very pleased with our week at Madison!

3rd Jr best 3 with the Swissy’s

Meadow Hill Dare Bo was 6th fall yearling.

Meadow Hill Famous Bourbon was 4th winter yearling. Nominated as a winter calf last year.

Meadow Hill Famous Alibi was 16th summer yearling owned by Bret and Shelby Keister housed at the farm.

Meadow Hill Foremost Tiki was 15th fall calf.

2nd choice Kid Rock Phoenix “The Jersey” was 17th spring yearling. Our first bred jersey.

Thanks to everyone at home. A big thank you to Jamie Mase, don’t know how many wives who would be ok with a 9 year anniversary spent apart, but thankfully I have one who understands how much of a sickness we at Meadow Hill we have for these animals!

Had a good day with a different color at the western champ show. Brentley was 4th in the red and white open 1st junior and pulled out! She’s an Altitude out of an 86 point unstoppable. We are excited about Brentley’s little red herd he’s building!

What a wonderful week for the girls from Meadow Hill Farm at the NYSS. Thanks everyone who helped make the show possible and to everyone that helped out this week at the show it most definitely takes a village. I’m not tagging everyone or that would take up the whole post. But I would like to thank Cowsmopolitan for the great pictures and Hills Valley Farm for sponsoring!

Highlights:

Jr champ went to Meadow Hill Foremost Tikki.

Honorable mention went to last years nominated winter calf Meadow Hill Famous Bourbon.

We are hoping to get Bourbon flushed inquiries welcome. We think the foremost x famous might be the answer!

Our home coming queen, Meadow Hill Dorito Bobby Jo, VG 88 as a two yr old. Even though, her
Rookie caretaker got her to fat during her dry period.
She made her 2021 debut at the NY spring show. a Month fresh, a long way from where she needs to be. Placing 1st in the sr 3 yr old.
Her Famous Daughter owned by Nate Goldenburg. Was 1st spring yearling. Texas state show.
Famous IVF due this June and September. Inquiries welcome
