A first vintage, shared with the community that has been part of the Abbott Claim story from the beginning.

Recently, we gathered with our Allocation Members to celebrate the inaugural release of Lily Springs Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Throughout the afternoon, the wines were joined by a few details created especially for the occasion, from the vineyard roots and Oculus stations to sunflowers grown here at Abbott Claim.

Some of the most compelling details at Abbott Claim are not seen from a distance. In August, the vineyard invites a closer look as veraison begins and Pinot Noir transitions from growth to ripening. In less than two weeks, we will pour the inaugural vintage from Lily Springs Vineyard for our Allocation Members for the very first time.

Since planting in 2021, Winemaker Alban Debeaulieu has believed this remarkable site in the Eola-Amity Hills has the potential to become one of Oregon’s truly exceptional vineyards.

On August 15, we will celebrate its debut with the first Lily Springs Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, thoughtfully paired bites, conversations with Alban about the vision behind the vineyard, and a few surprises along the way.

After recently tasting through the 2025 vintage in barrel, Winemaker Alban Debeaulieu reached for a bottle that reflects what Abbott Claim is today.

"I went straight for the 2021 Abbott Claim Vineyard Pinot Noir. The vintage took a few years to truly blossom in bottle, and today the 2021 reds are the best they've ever been. Complex, deep, all in amplitude and energy; brightly perfumed, red and floral, they run the gamut and display it all without holding back anymore."

Whether in your cellar or your glass, the 2021 Abbott Claim Vineyard Pinot Noir continues to tell its story.
