Once again I have had the best help, and fall pruning is done! Whew!! Thank you to my loving family for the help! And, my trusty farm dogs for keeping it entertaining.

Our plants are healthy, thriving, and big. We can’t get over how big they are. I have so much gratitude for this generous, tough, forgiving plant. Now it’s time for them to rest…until next year.

While the plants rest, I will get to work on the many lavender products you all have come to love. And if you’re not familiar with how we use our crop, check out our website. We recently expanded our product line. More on that soon!

🐴 Barn update: slowly but surely! 🏡✨

Little by little, we’re getting closer to having an actual barn! And when I say little by little, I mean… VERY little by little. 😂

This process has definitely taken longer than we anticipated. Between building plan revisions, water testing, literally TONS of dirt to move and reshape, building codes, mixed-use residential + commercial regulations, temporary electrical for the construction crew, and about a million other details we never knew existed… it’s been quite the adventure!

But every time we see a little more progress, we get excited all over again. 💜

We’re keeping our fingers crossed that soon all the pieces will finally come together and this barn we’ve been dreaming about will become a reality.

One load of dirt, one permit, and one step at a time. 🌿🚜🏡

Stay tuned… we’re getting there! 💜

💜 It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood! 💜

And today, our neighborhood happens to be Lake Stevens! 🏡✨

Come say hi, check out our newest lavender goodies, and visit all of the wonderful neighboring businesses while you’re here!

Here’s a little full-circle fun: back in 1994, we bought our very first home right here in Lake Stevens—just a short walk from Dwellers Drinkery, where we are today. 🥹

Who could’ve guessed all those years ago that we’d one day be back in the neighborhood, promoting our lavender farm in Carlton, WA? 💜🌿

And because apparently the universe loves a good coincidence… two of our sons now work here at Dwellers! ❤️

So much nostalgia. So many memories. And somehow, we’ve come full circle.

Come see us in the neighborhood! 🌿💜

Thank you to Amy at Methow Photography for helping us capture our lavender field so beautifully. 💜

So grateful for this group of hard, hard workers. It takes grit and determination to pull this off in extreme heat warnings and wildfire smoke. Friends and family have supported us through it all - harvesting, distilling, keeping us fed, teaching, encouraging. Feeling loved. 🥰
