We usually try to keep some psychological distance from the cuteness of these cuddly fluffs, but COME ON!!!

At 5 days old, they seem to be adjusting well to humans, curious dogs, gusty winds, and smoky evenings. Tonight will be a cold one, but when the sun hardly ever sets, the low temp can’t hang around for too long.

We ordered turkeys this year with half a mind we’d cancel them, but season 8 of poultry farming will happen after all!

Holy wow! The farm got a special late-night show this weekend with about the only thing that can keep us up past 9 this time of year. First northern lights experience did not disappoint!

Thanks to our community for showing up on a busy Twisp Saturday in frigid temps, to those of you who traveled for this event, and a verrrry special thanks to and for sharing their beautiful space and making this day possible. Maybe someday we’ll stop being surprised by this place, but it hasn’t happened yet.

Also, we love ! Merry happy!

The early snow stuck around, as expected, and there’s more on the way! Now that all the veggies and turkeys are out the door, we’re ready to embrace planning, playing, and resting season.

✨WREATH SEASON✨

While we’re big fans of year-round wreaths at the farm, y’all seem to like them more around the holidays. Since we’re getting more inquiries about dried flower goods, I figured I’d share some info here:

❣️ all flowers are naturally grown and dried right here! This is a thing we’re really proud of, but it also means that there are only so many flowers grown and dried each year.

❣️ is keeping wreaths stocked for you this holiday season, which is the quickest way for you to get one in your hands. they also have lots of bouquets and holiday centerpieces that you can check out, thanks to Kelly’s support and creativity!

❣️ we will offer custom wreaths on a limited basis, but reach out soon because farmin’ and craftin’ aren’t the only jobs around here and there will be a turnaround time.

❣️while we’d love to have the fruits of our labor hanging in the houses or our loved ones all over the country, you’ll have to come to Okanogan County to buy any of our dried goods.

Thanks for all the support all season! Stretching these creative muscles to extend the life of the crops we spend so much energy on is a true delight. And this red beauty might just be my favorite yet.

Winter is here and far too soon… 🥶

Too soon for the garlic or peonies to be planted, the drip tape to be picked up, the orchard to lose their leaves, or the lovely larches to transition.

Winter in early November is pretty stressful for this lil community, and it has been an exciting week for many; but we’ve gotta say how impressed we are with all the folks who plowed and moved trees and cows and fixed the power and internet so swiftly.

At the end of the day, she sure is pretty!
