Tiny farm girl and her zinnias 🌸 🌺 🌼

The flowers are exploding, but who can be bothered with work when your fam travels 2500 miles to catch a long weekend in the Methow?

We usually try to keep some psychological distance from the cuteness of these cuddly fluffs, but COME ON!!!

At 5 days old, they seem to be adjusting well to humans, curious dogs, gusty winds, and smoky evenings. Tonight will be a cold one, but when the sun hardly ever sets, the low temp can’t hang around for too long.

We ordered turkeys this year with half a mind we’d cancel them, but season 8 of poultry farming will happen after all!

The only moody spring moments we’ve had time to capture in this crazy, beautiful, hurry up, wait, rewind month. May will May!

ft: row cover that has been blown off 5ish times, the sweetest smelling bouquet, dog treasure turned tractor decor, and irrigation fixes.

Holy wow! The farm got a special late-night show this weekend with about the only thing that can keep us up past 9 this time of year. First northern lights experience did not disappoint!

❤️ Very successful and super fun and caffeinated day ❤️

Thanks to our community for showing up on a busy Twisp Saturday in frigid temps, to those of you who traveled for this event, and a verrrry special thanks to and for sharing their beautiful space and making this day possible. Maybe someday we’ll stop being surprised by this place, but it hasn’t happened yet.

Also, we love ! Merry happy!

Monochromatic farm with that just-right light
💙

The early snow stuck around, as expected, and there’s more on the way! Now that all the veggies and turkeys are out the door, we’re ready to embrace planning, playing, and resting season.
💙

Thanks a million for all the support of our produce and poultry again this season. Year 6 was our best yet, and there’s still more to come.
