Set above the vineyards at our private estate, our new SOM Wines lunches invite guests to slow down and share an afternoon of wine, food, and conversation. Each experience begins with a guided tasting of six SOM Wines, paired with a seasonal four-course menu created by Chef Itamar Abramovitch.

Blending week in Oregon is always a great reminder of the purpose of SOM wines.

We like to say SOM is “a study in winemaking through collaboration,” and this trip was exactly that. Marc Gagnon led the room, joined by Charles Miller, Dan Bell, and Mark Brooks from our Fraîche team. Around the table with them were Brian Irvine from and Thomas Savre of , tasting, adjusting, and refining every barrel sample side by side.

There is no single voice at SOM. Every perspective matters. Sommeliers bring structure and balance, winemakers bring instinct and precision, and vignerons bring a deep respect for site. This collective point of view results in unique and exceptional wines.
