🌱 Celebrating Growth & Leadership at The Maschhoffs 🌱

We’re proud to spotlight our 2026 Targeted Development Program — a one-year journey designed to help a select group of leaders:

✨ Enhance self-development
✨ Build leadership skills
✨ Expand perspectives across the organization
✨ Connect with mentors and peers

Today, we’re highlighting Nick Grohmann and his commitment to continuous growth.

Nick believes there is always an opportunity to learn, improve, and become better — no matter how much experience you have or where you are in your career. For him, growth comes from staying curious, being willing to listen, learning from the people around you, and taking on challenges that push you outside of your comfort zone.

That mindset makes Targeted Development a natural fit. The program provides Nick with new perspectives, meaningful connections, and opportunities to learn from others across The Maschhoffs. Just as importantly, it creates an environment where people are encouraged to challenge themselves and continue improving.

At The Maschhoffs, we believe development is a journey, not a destination. We’re proud to invest in people like Nick who are committed to learning, growing, and finding new ways to make an impact.

🌱 Growing the future, one life at a time.

Behind every barn, every piglet, and every plate of food is a partnership built on care, integrity, and shared values.

At The Maschhoffs, our Production Partners are more than growers — they’re stewards of animal well-being, champions of responsible farming, and essential to feeding families and building communities across the Midwest.

If you’re passionate about animal care, sustainability, and being part of something bigger, we’d love to talk.

🎒 Giving back, one backpack at a time! 🎒
Several Maschhoffs team members recently used their volunteer day to support Hoyleton Youth & Family Services during its Back To School Event—and thanks to the dedication of volunteers and community partners, the event was a huge success.
Together, volunteers helped make an incredible impact:
• 315 backpacks distributed
• 1,175 hygiene items distributed
• 137.25 volunteer hours completed
Each number represents a student who now feels more prepared and confident heading into the school year. Thank you to our employees for sharing your time and talents with our community, and thank you to Hoyleton Youth & Family Services for the meaningful work you do to support local youth and families.

We’re taking a look back to 1934 and a one-of-a-kind moment in The Maschhoffs’ history. The old north/south Illinois highway, known as the Black Diamond Trail, ran from Springfield to Cairo and passed right through the heart of what is today the home farm.
In 1934 and 1935, the new Illinois Route 127 was constructed, bypassing the Weinberg Brothers Fruit Orchard, which is now the home farm. At that time, the Black Diamond Trail Road led right in front of the Ben Maschhoff residence.
In this photo, taken in 1934, Wayne Maschhoff is riding on the newly constructed Illinois Route 127, which would proceed south to Nashville and eventually to Cairo, Illinois. Photos like this are a special reminder of the people, places, and moments that helped shape who we are and where we come from.
Here’s to celebrating the roads that brought us here, the families who built our foundation, and the history that continues to make The Maschhoffs’ story worth sharing.

We’re proud to support the next generation of agricultural leaders! The Maschhoffs recently donated to the Pine Bluffs FFA Chapter to help support their continued growth, learning, and involvement in agriculture.
FFA plays an important role in preparing students for future careers, building leadership skills, and encouraging a passion for agriculture. At The Maschhoffs, we believe investing in youth in agriculture helps strengthen the future of our industry and the communities we serve.
Thank you to the Pine Bluffs FFA Chapter for the work you’re doing to inspire, educate, and develop tomorrow’s agricultural leaders. We’re excited to see all that you continue to accomplish!

A farm is more than a business—it’s a legacy built for generations.

At The Maschhoffs, we partner with producers to build trusted relationships, offer expert guidance through the planning process, and support long-term success for the families and farms of tomorrow.

This vintage photo captures an early chapter of The Maschhoffs story in Carlyle, Illinois—a reminder of the hard work, determination and entrepreneurial spirit that helped build the foundation for who we are today.

While much has changed over the years, our commitment to feeding families, building communities and caring for animals remains the same. We're proud of our roots and grateful for the generations of team members, production partners and families who have helped shape our journey.

Here's to honoring the past while continuing to move forward together.

🌱 Growing Leaders at The Maschhoffs 🌱

We’re proud to highlight our 2026 Targeted Development Program—a one-year journey focused on building strong, capable leaders who drive our future forward:

✨ Strengthening leadership and technical skills
✨ Expanding perspectives across our operations
✨ Building meaningful connections across teams
✨ Supporting continuous growth and development

Today, we are featuring Bob Oitker, Nutrition Operations Manager, who is committed to helping not only the organization but also those around him succeed. Through the program, Bob has gained a deeper understanding of himself and a greater appreciation for the perspectives and strengths of his younger teammates. Bob’s story reflects what makes The Maschhoffs unique: the opportunity to take on meaningful work for a nationally recognized company while staying connected to rural communities and values.

This program goes beyond development, it demonstrates our commitment to investing in our people and creating opportunities for them to grow, lead, and make a meaningful impact every day.
