🎓 Celebrating Maschhoffs Future Leader Shannon Melody! 🎓
Shannon Melody, a 2026 graduate of South Central Calhoun High School in Lake City, Iowa, and a proud recipient of The Maschhoffs scholarship! Throughout high school, Shannon has been active in softball and track all four years, while also making a strong impact through FFA, where she served as treasurer and most recently as chapter president.
Outside of school, she has shown sheep at both the local and national levels, demonstrating dedication, responsibility, and a passion for agriculture. Shannon plans to attend Iowa State University in Ames to major in Kinesiology on a pre-med track, with the goal of returning to Lake City as a family doctor. We are proud to support Shannon as she takes this next step and wish her continued success in the future!

👏 Congratulations to the Champion Overall Showman and Reserve Champion Overall Showman at the Illinois State Fair Junior Swine Show!
Through The Maschhoffs Impact program, we were proud to sponsor the award checks recognizing these outstanding young exhibitors. The Illinois State Fair Junior Swine Show gives young people an opportunity to demonstrate the knowledge, responsibility and confidence they have developed while raising and exhibiting their animals.
We are honored to support programs that celebrate the hard work of agricultural youth and help create meaningful opportunities for the next generation. The dedication, preparation and showmanship displayed by these exhibitors reflect a bright future for the swine industry.

We’re excited to celebrate Production Partner Jason Vincent and the completion of a new nursery barn with The Maschhoffs!

Jason and his dad have been actively involved in the pork industry for more than 20 years, bringing valuable experience, dedication, and a strong commitment to animal care to everything they do. Since joining The Maschhoffs as Production Partners in the spring of 2024, the Vincent family has continued to grow their operation. In addition to this new nursery barn, they currently operate two other nursery barns and a feeder pig barn with us.

We’re grateful for the Vincent family’s partnership and proud to support their continued investment in pork production. Congratulations to Jason and his family on this exciting milestone—we look forward to growing together for years to come!

🌟 The Maschhoffs Impact Grant Applications Are Now Open! 🌟

Great ideas can create lasting change. Through The Maschhoffs Impact, we’re proud to support projects that strengthen the communities where we live, work, and do business.

Grant opportunities include community infrastructure and essential services, food insecurity and disaster relief, youth engagement, and agricultural education. Whether your project will improve a local park or community facility, provide critical resources for first responders, support a food pantry, or create new opportunities through FFA, 4-H, or agricultural learning, we want to hear from you.

Employees, production partners, and community members are encouraged to apply. Applications are reviewed throughout the year according to each grant program’s schedule.

🎓 Celebrating Maschhoffs Future Leader Ethan Goodin! 🎓
We’re proud to recognize Ethan Goodin as a Maschhoffs Future Leader and scholarship recipient. Ethan is pursuing a major in Actuarial Science at Murray State University, where he is building on his strong interest in mathematics, statistical analysis, and problem-solving.
With a goal of earning his professional actuarial credentials, Ethan hopes to make a meaningful impact in the financial and risk management industries. His dedication to academics and his future career path reflect the drive and leadership we are excited to support through the Maschhoffs Future Leader Scholarship.
Outside of the classroom, Ethan enjoys spending time golfing, fishing, and making memories with family and friends. He shared that he is honored to be named a Maschhoffs Future Leader and is thankful for The Maschhoffs’ investment in his education.
