Because we farm our own vineyards, we’re not just showing up for harvest. We’ve been out here all year pruning, tying, suckering, managing the canopy, prepping the soil, monitoring the weather, etc. There’s a lot more that goes into those bins than just grapes. It’s a year’s worth of hands on work, hard decisions, and mother nature throwing us all sorts of curveballs.
When harvest goes well, there’s a pretty big sigh of relief when it all comes together. After a quick deep breath it’s time to refocus because the work in the w**ery is just getting started 🤘
