Meet the vendors of the 2026 Carmel Christkindlmarkt! 🇩🇪
Over the next month, we’ll introduce you to the makers, merchants, and delicious finds waiting inside our charming, wooden Christkindlmarkt huts.
Starting with Huts #1–5:
🍷 Hut #1 - Glühwein: Warm Glühwein (mulled w**e), select German beers, and Kinderpunsch (non-alcoholic mulled punch). Glühwein is Germany’s traditional hot beverage, made by heating sweet red w**e and infusing it with aromatic spices.
🌟 Hut #2 - Lichtermeer: Colorful paper star lanterns, intricate paper ornaments, German beeswax candles, and Herrnhuter Sterne, also known as Moravian stars, a beloved illuminated Advent and Christmas decoration with roots in Germany.
🎄 Hut #3 - Baumschmuck aus Lauscha: Discover traditional German Christmas ornaments, including beautifully handcrafted pieces inspired by Germany’s centuries-old tradition of blown-glass and carved wooden decorations.
🫒 Hut #4 - Speisekammer: Gourmet oils and vinegars, loose-leaf teas, spice blends, and German condiments. These make a great addition to your pantry or a stocking stuffer for the friend or family member who loves to experiment in the kitchen.
🕯️ Hut #5 Schwibbogen: Traditional German candle arches from the Erzgebirge region of Saxony, where the wooden Schwibbogen originated. These beautifully crafted decorations bring a little piece of German Christmas tradition home with you.
