It is with very heavy hearts that the Ciancio family shares the passing of George Ciancio Jr.
For nearly 38 years, George was the proud owner of Kent Liquors here in Carmel. What meant the most to him was never just the store itself, but the people who walked through the door every day. Over the years, so many of you became more than customers ā you became friends, neighbors, and part of our extended family.
Our family is incredibly grateful to this community for the support you showed George and our store for so many years. The conversations at the counter, the laughs, the stories, and the relationships built there meant the world to him.
We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to every employee who has worked at Kent Liquors over the years, as well as the many sales representatives who partnered with George and helped make the store what it became. You were all an important part of the journey and of Georgeās life.
In true George fashion, the store will remain open and operating during normal business hours ā exactly the way he would have wanted it.
Thank you for being part of his story and part of our familyās life.
