Yarn Basket Toys was born out of my desire to promote learning through play. As a teacher, I have always loved watching children come alive with imagination and wonder as they explore the world of pretend. Seeing that joy inspired me to begin creating handmade crocheted toys that encourage creativity, comfort, and endless possibilities for play. As I brought each toy to life through crochet, I discovered something unexpected: those children of wonder are still present in many adults as well. My creations have been welcomed by people of all ages—from newborns receiving their first soft companion to adults and seniors who cherish a handmade treasure that sparks joy and nostalgia. From miniature creations to extra-large companions, I pour my heart into every stitch. Each toy is thoughtfully handcrafted with the hope that it will inspire smiles, encourage imagination, and become a treasured part of someone's story.
