We need your help!!

Friends, tell us how to sell our chicken eggs! We have our farm stand and we're occasionally able to attend farmers markets, but we're not seeing the demand for local, rotationally grazed chicken eggs. Is the market too saturated in our area??

Interested in purchasing local, pasture raised eggs? We would love for you to join our ⭐ NEW ⭐ Thistle Gate Farm Nesting Box program!

Here are the details:
🥚 A flexible program that guarantees you get first access to our farm fresh eggs
🥚 The cost is $4/dozen - pay as you pick up
🥚 Weekly or bi-weekly pickups (we may even be able to deliver right to your door!)

Have you ever heard of clipping chicken flight feathers? Our farm Friday Fact is brought to you by our Houdini chickens.

Clipping flight feathers is a completely painless grooming technique that prevents chickens from being able to fly. We have a few chickens that have been consistently flying over their poultry netting so to protect them from predators, we are needing to clip their wing feathers.

These feathers naturally molt or shed and regrow so this process may need to be repeated, usually once a year.

T H A N K Y O U ! We are so blessed to be a part of the first Sebewaing Township Farmers Market of the season. Thank you to all who came out and supported our family farm journey! It was wonderful seeing all of you today. It was also a joy to be alongside our friends at Grandpa's Woods Maple Syrup.

We sold out of our sourdough bread within the first 30 minutes of opening, so if you weren't able to pick some up, send us a message and we'll bake you some fresh loaves!

Looking forward to what the rest of summer brings!
