Ready to see what's inside?? 👀

If you guessed broiler chicks, you are correct!! We placed an order for broilers this past week and they're here! They ship out at just one day old. How cute are these little yellow balls of fluff? They'll grow fast though, so they won't be little for long!

Here's your chance to place your order for a whole chicken! As always, we raise our animals as close as we can to the way God intended; naturally, ethically and without any of the unnecessary additives that you'll find in your local grocery.

So excited to be offering meat chickens as a farm offering for you all! 🙌🏼

Let's talk ticks!

Have you noticed an increase in ticks this fall?

Check out this massive tick I found on our goat this morning. It had obviously been there long enough to get a nice meal. One way we try to combat our tick population at our farm is by rotating our chickens around through our pasture areas. Someday, we'd like to also incorporate guinea fowl onto our farm to also assist with helping to remove these pests.

Happy Porktober! As you can tell from this video, these particular breeds of pigs LOVE to root. Their noses are covered in dirt and they're using their powerful snouts to search for roots, grub, insects, and nuts within the soil.

We're using their rooting abilities to our advantage in our future orchard. They're helping us improve our soil here by leaving behind organic matter and by creating a swale in this area to help slow and catch rainwater.

We're at the Pumpkin Festival and it's a perfect fall day for Harvest Market! Hope to see you all here! 🎃
