The Deli is back open!

First, thank you to everyone who came out during our first week.

Over the last few days, we took a step back to do what great businesses do—we evaluated, trained, adjusted, and improved. We brought on some additional team members, spent time on hands-on training, refined our systems, and focused on creating a smoother experience for every guest who walks through our doors.

Opening a new concept is never about being perfect on Day 1. It’s about building something special, listening to feedback, and getting better every single day.

Chef Will and the team are ready to get back to doing what they do best: creating incredible sandwiches, fresh salads, and deli favorites that Carolina Beach can be proud of.

Thank you for your patience, support, and belief in what we’re building at Carolina Beach Market & Deli. We can’t wait to serve you.

The response to The Deli over the last 7 days has exceeded every expectation we had. First and foremost, THANK YOU to everyone who has stopped in, shared a post, told a friend, or waited patiently in line. The support from this community has been incredible.

With that kind of turnout comes valuable lessons. We’ve learned that in order to deliver the experience we envision every single time, we need a brief pause to recover, train, and fine-tune some systems and procedures behind the scenes. We refuse to settle for “good enough” when we know we can be better.

The Deli will be closed for the next few days while our team recharges and sharpens our processes. We are excited to reopen on Thursday at 11:00 AM with an even stronger operation ready to serve you.

The Market and Sea Bean Coffee will remain OPEN during this time, so stop by and see us.

The Calm Before The Storm…

It’s quiet out front, but behind these walls the energy is anything but.

For months, Chef Will and his team have been putting in the work—testing recipes, refining processes, sourcing ingredients, and building a deli experience we’re proud to bring to Carolina Beach. While the counters may look calm today, there’s a whole lot happening behind the scenes.

We’re taking a measured approach as we open, making sure every sandwich, every side, and every detail meets the standard we’ve set for ourselves. Over the next few days, we’ll be easing into service and gradually rolling out menu items as the team finds its rhythm.

By the end of the week, expect the full vision of The Deli at Carolina Beach Market & Deli to start coming to life.
