A gorgeous yellow blooming again for the third time since spring.
Wild enough, this is from a cross of flying saucer x Betty boom. This shows the wide variations that can come out, the parents are two plants that have pink, orange and a mix of colors that gave seedlings of solid yellow, whites, solid orange and other colors. Some bigger, some smaller, some singlle petaled some double. Never know with these guys lol

Thought I would share my dragon fruit tree I’ve been growing for about 8-9 years.

Hylocereus Taiwanese hybrid, with a red/purple colored center.

Amazingly huge night blooming flowers that produce a bright pinkish red fruit with red/purple center.

Expensive in the stores and always shipped green to ripen after picked that have no flavor.
They are easy to grow here in SoCal, especially when made into a tree like fashion like this.

Sinningia ‘Crushed Velvet’

A Wonderul Sinningia hybrid of Sinningia bullata and Sinningia leucotricha.

Slow growing caudex and cycles through silvery fuzzy leaves with red, coral to orange flowers.
While each seedling has its own characteristics in some way, the hybrid bring the high flower count and silver foliage of leucotrica and the improved flower of bullata as well as a soft white rabbit fur like under leaf.
